Having transported the hearty, honest flavours of Catalonia to Brisbane's favourite Spanish haunt Moda, Chef Javier Codina will be in residence at The Sanchaya from Friday 27th September - Sunday 29th September, bringing vibrant, cosmopolitan flavours of Spain to the estate.
The Mediterranean-inspired gastronomy weekend will commence on Friday 27th September with a 3 course set menu inspired by some of Chef Javier’s signature dishes, followed by a recreation of the intimate Javier's Table Experience on Saturday 28th September, which will allow guests the opportunity to learn more about Chef Javier’s culinary philosophy.
The weekend will culminate in a Sunday Brunch on Sunday 29th September, with The Sanchaya's Chef Giacomo and Chef Javier recreating the quintessential Aussie BBQ together, this time with a Mediterranean twist. Taking place on the lawn area at the heart of the estate, the brunch is a casual affair with beanbag seating and an optional free-flow beverage package featuring Sommelier selected wines and Aussie beers.
